Tursa Employment & Training is a not-for-profit employment services provider, and this is its Murwillumbah branch on Murwillumbah Street. Founded in 1994 out of personal experience of long-term unemployment, Tursa is a registered training organisation that helps job seekers find and keep work, and helps employers recruit and fill roles, with a single point of contact and end-to-end support.
From its Murwillumbah office, Tursa delivers government employment programs including Workforce Australia (general employment services), Inclusive Employment Australia (disability employment) and Transition to Work for young people aged 15 to 24. It works with a wide range of participants — including First Nations people, people with disability, parents, mature-aged and young job seekers — across northern NSW and south-east Queensland.
